SWIM COACH / TEACHER
We’re not your typical swim school. Swim Station was created by coaches with 20+ years of experience to offer high-quality, 1:1 coaching that’s affordable and accessible. We focus on personalising every session, use technology like underwater cameras to accelerate progress, and build flexibility into our scheduling because we know life doesn’t always run to plan.
Now, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Swimming Coach / Teacher to join our growing team — someone who wants to grow with the company. As we expand, there’s potential for increased days/ hours and, for the right person, a future salaried position within our coaching team.
HOURS (to start)
Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 4–8pm
Potential to extend hours / add additional days – we have pool access 24/7.
PAY
£35/hr coaching
£20/hr standby (for gaps between lessons)
WHO YOU'LL TEACH
Children (from beginners to competitive swimmers – all strokes!)
Adults learning to swim
Triathletes & recreational swimmers
Many nervous/fearful swimmers
We teach in an Endless Pool and use underwater cameras for technique analysis (training and tips provided if you haven’t used these before or don’t feel confident).
MUST HAVE
Swimming teaching qualification
Minimum 3 years’ experience
DBS check
Life Saving for Teachers award (or willing to complete)
Safeguarding certificate
Competitive coaching experience
DESIRABLE
Triathlon experience – either participation and/ or coaching
Baby Swim qualification
Coaching qualification
